Queen of Tarts

three olive tart with goat's cheese rosemary

I won, I won! (said in Ralph Wiggum's voice)
Looks like the acquisition of that food processor actually paid off because you’re looking at the winning entry of Hay Hay it's Donna Day #5! So kudos to the processor who I have consequently decided to dub Jim; he’s an efficient, handy all-rounder so I thought Jim would be a fitting name. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that I was the winner and you can rest-assured that the moment was duly celebrated with some gelato and pastries. This is just the thing I need to give me more confindence in pastry making.

This event was hosted by Tami of Running with Tweezers and the winner was determined through a ballot, so a BIG thank you for those who voted for me. I am very grateful and although I really didn't think I had any chance of winning, I graciously accept the honour of being crowned the queen of tarts this month. I was told that winning isn’t everything, but when it comes with an Amazon.com gift voucher attached, I am not one to complain.

So thank you again Tami for hosting this event. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for the next instalment of Hay Hay it’s Donna Day #6 coming up soon.

I love that you named your food processor, I'm in the process of finding a name for my new Kitchenaid, I feel like it will just come to me...
